APICS Association
APICS, The Association for Operations Management is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources, and worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals.
Okanagan Chapter
The Okanagan Chapter of APICS was founded on September 11, 1990, with
23 members including 1st corporate member Western Star Trucks, by a
small group of interested and motivated individuals from diverse fields
in education and manufacturing.
A partnership was instituted with OUC, which fostered local credibility
and administrative support. The chapter continues to play an active role
in the valley and throughout the region through it's educational
offerings, attendance at region meetings, Train-The-Trainer programs,
and participation of many members who offer time and talent to the
organization.
